There are many municipal beaches in Istanbul, from Silivri to Tuzla, from Çatalca to Şile coasts. Istanbul, known for its rich history, culture and striking architecture, also attracts attention with its beaches on the Black Sea and Marmara coasts.
The city has several beach areas that are not well known, but where residents and visitors can enjoy the beach. Beltur Beach in Büyükada
It is located on Büyükada, one of the Prince Islands in the Sea of Marmara. Although it is not a typical sandy beach, it is a beach where you can swim, relax and enjoy the peaceful environment away from the city. The 500-person beach can be visited daily. Caddebostan 1-2-3 Beach (Kadıköy)
This beach is part of the Caddebostan neighborhood on the Asian side of Istanbul. It is a pebble beach with a pleasant promenade, making it a favorite spot for locals to relax and go for a walk.
